Kristīne Abula
Kristīne Iveta Abula dzima 1993. gada 10. februārī, un uzauga ārpus Milvokiem, Viskonsīnā. Viņa saņēma savu bakulāra grādu publiskā veselībā no Ohio State (go bucks!). Tagad viņa studē Mičiganas Universitātē saņemt maģistru grādus publiskā veselībā (MPH) un sociālā darbniecībā (MSW). Šis ir Kristīnes pirmais gads ALJA valdē, bet bija padomē pirms pāris gadiem. Kristīnei ir kaķītis vārdā Mazā un savā brīvā laikā, viņai patīk cept un vārīt!

Aldans Karlsons Brown ir dzimis 1992 g. 30. martā, Kalamazū, Mičiganā. Viņš studēja rūpniecības inženierzinātni Mičiganas Universtātē. Viņš pašlaik strādā kā projektu menedžeris medicīnas ierīces rūpniecibā Kalamazū rajonā. Šis ir viņa trešais gads ALJAs valdē un otrais gads kā Kultūras nozares vadītājs. Viņš arī piedalās Rustikanas korporācijas valdē. Brivā laikā viņam patīk snovbordēt, nometņot un vispār pavadīt laiku dabā. Intresants fakts par Aldanu: Viņam vārds bija iedots tamdēļ ka ģimenei ir iemīļota pilsēta Mičigānā, nosaukumā Alden. Ģimenei tur arī atrodas vasarmāja dažas jūdzas no pilsētas centra.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
Cultural Activities Manager (CAM) shall be responsible for all ALJA events. CAM undertakes to put at least four events ALJA year of operation, in different cities. Planning including the following tasks: choose the city and the place where the event is being held, to decorate , invent prices and costs in order to be able to import ALJA Treasury acceptable balance, choose the music and/or other entertainment, prepare food and drink, to invent efficient and safe transport of the participants and arrange discounted accommodation if you need them. New leaders in the cultural sector and representatives of the Board ALJA all cultural projects in the context of cooperation with other cultural organizations to promote ALJA's mission.
- Must plan and prepare Garezera 4-2 Volleyball Weekend’s Sirds Līksmo dance, and the Cūku Bēres (pig roast).
- CAM must be present, and lead all their planned events, with ALJA board members and other volunteers help.
- Other events suggested to be planned are the Sirsniņu Balle (Sweethearts dance), Baltoween, etc.
WHO WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR THIS POSITION?
It depends on the month. Several months before an event there is a lot to plan and organize. 1-2 months before the event, at least twice a week to talk to the people/companies who are responsible to go over the event details - for example, the music group or DJ, food service, finding a host location where the event will take place, the hotel, the A/V company. All this as well as organizing/purchasing/ordering decorations, food, and drinks. When the big day arrives, it is necessary to have an effective agenda, and coordinate with any volunteers that are present.
WHO WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR THIS POSITION?
Anyone who is interested in event planning, and someone who collaborates well with all sorts of people, as the CAM have to talk to many people, companies and organizations, and at the same time maintain close ties with the Board and ALJA members. The candidates must be organized and hard-working, to ensure that all activities go smoothly!

Nothing is particularly necessary, but A V, artistic and cooking abilities can be useful
